Groundskeeper

Job Description:

Required Experience: 

  • Operating and maintaining a riding lawnmower, leaf blower, and trimmer

  • Planting trees and plants

  • Identifying plants and weeds

  • General knowledge of hand and power tools

Duties:  

  • Mowing and trimming lawns across multiple properties in Garner

  • Weed control and general landscaping upkeep such as planting flowers and trees, mulching

  • Watering lawns, plants, and trees

  • Installing new landscaping including borders

  • Cleaning up job sites and maintaining curb appeal

  • Spreading grass seed and fill

  • Utilize hand and power tools to move soil, rock, mulch, etc.

  • Select, load, and unload plants and materials

  • Operate larger equipment such as skidloader, forklift, rock sifter, and trailers as needed and as able

Job type: Part-time during the summer months, approximately 16-36 hours per week
