Our History
Lynne and Paul Breister had known for some time that they wanted to be business owners. It so happened that they shared a passion for Building and Design. So one day in early 1997 they decided to turn that idea into reality and Crown Point Builders came to be. The rest, as they say, is history.
And what a history it is. Over 120 new homes built in numerous North Iowa communities. Dozens of additions and renovation projects. And, paired with its partner company North Iowa Kitchens, over 200 kitchen and bath renovations. Over the last 20 years we have created not only homes, but also a strong connection with our local community and a reputation for Trust, Excellence, and Kindness.
As much pride as we hold in our past we have great hope in the future. Through ups and downs, good times and bad, we believe anything can be achieved through positivity and good old fashioned hard work. By embracing technology, investing in both our equipment and our team members, and improving efficiency we're excited to take on the next 20 years.
